RVZ Vertical Solution - 2023
In entry for the Buildner: Los Angeles Affordable Housing competition, I used this concept to explore the potential for a new age “RV Park” to arrange vertically rather than spread across a larger property. I think the juxtaposition of the growing mobile population (especially in digital/tech industries), and the urban need for affordable housing present unique opportunities to forge cooperative communities and circular economies while leading the way towards minimalizing our carbon foot print per capita. This is a concept originally proposed by Elmer Frey in 1966, before considerable changes to the needs of the working class and available technologies of today.
The Conversion of Ms. Figg - 2023
While working as a designer and apprentice for Affordable Off-Grid Housing, I created this solution to fill the needs of a digitally nomadic couple seeking a viable living space which can travel efficiently, and support an adventurous lifestyle in all four seasons. A strong effort was placed in utilizing repurposed materials and energy conserving techniques. This conversion features a recirculating indoor/outdoor filtered shower, hydronic heated floors, 800 watts of solar, composting toilet, raise/lower bed, insulated outboard storage and more.
Trapa House - Mallorca - 2022
As a school project with FX Animation - this was my rendition of the Trapa House where I learned to integrate other tools with 3ds Max and supplement the render with V-Ray, Forest Pack, Railclone, and eventually link into Unreal Engine with the datasmith workflow.
